Setting Up Microsoft Outlook 2000 for Windows Platforms:
1. Open Outlook 2000. Click Tools then Accounts.(Show me)
2. The Internet Accounts window will open. Click on the Mail tab. Other email accounts may exist here that were previously configured. Click on Add then Mail. (Show me)
3. The Internet Connection Wizard will start. Enter your name in the Display Name field as you would like it to appear to your email recipients. Click Next. (Show me)
4. Enter your Eastlink email address in the E-mail address field. Click Next. (Show me)
5. Enter the incoming (POP3) and outgoing (SMTP) mail servers for your service area. For information on the servers in your service area, visit our Servers page. Click Next. (Show me)
6. Your account name is the name before the "@" symbol in your email address. Type in your account name in the Account Name field. You may also include your password in the Password field. Click Next. (Show me)
7. Select Connect using my local area network (LAN) then click Next. (Show me)
8. All of the information has been entered. Click Finish to exit the wizard and begin using Outlook 2000.
