Email Setup and Management

Setting Up Microsoft Outlook 97/98 for Windows Platforms:

1. Open Outlook and click Tools then Services (Show me)

2. In the Services window, click Add. (Show me)

3. Select Internet E-mail and click OK. (Show me)

4. In the Internet E-mail Properties, type in a suitable name in the Mail Account field. Under User Information, type in your name as you would like it to appear to your email recipients. Type in your email address in the E-mail Address field. (Show me)

5. Click on the Servers tab. Type in the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) and the Incoming Mail (POP3) servers in the fields provided. For information on the mail servers in your service area, visit our Servers page. Type in your username in the Account Name field. Your user name is the name before the "@" symbol in your email address. Enter your password in the Password field. (Show me)

6. Click on the Connection tab. Select I use a LAN connection. Click Apply then OK. (Show me)

7. Click OK in the Services window to begin using Outlook.
