Netscape 4.7 (Windows)
Note: When you change your e-mail password, Netscape 4.7 will prompt you for the new password when you check for new mail. The following steps will guide you to ensuring that you have entered the right username for your e-mail account.
- Click the "Edit" menu. Click the "Preferences" option. (Show me)
- On the left hand side of the Preferences window, click the "+" next to "Mail & Newsgroups", if the there is "-" next to "Mail & Newsgroups" go on to the next step.
- In the white box on the right side, click on your mail account then click the "Edit." button. (Show me)
- Be sure that the "User Name" is the first part of your e-mail address, everything before the "@" (Show me)
- Click the "OK" button
- Click the "OK" button
