From the minute Steve Clapperton speaks a word, it’s not hard to tell that he is a native Scotsman.
Steve grew up in Innerleithen, a small town in the area of Tweeddale, Scotland.
Steve caught his very first fish on the River Tweed, which runs through Tweeddale. He was 10 years old at the time, fishing with his father. After reeling in that salmon, he was hooked on the sport!
Steve moved to Antigonish after meeting his wife and discovered that Nova Scotia was an amazing place to fish. Each week, Steve shares his enthusiasm about the quality fishing in our area during Fishing with Friends.
