Eastlink welcomes results of independent Internet performance study

HALIFAX, March 31, 2016 - Eastlink expressed today that the company is pleased with the results of the first independent national study of the performance of broadband Internet access services, commissioned by the CRTC. The findings validate that Eastlink customers are receiving Internet services that meet or exceed advertised speeds.


“We are pleased to have participated in this study and welcome the results, which validate that our customers are getting the speeds they signed up for,” said Lee Bragg, CEO Eastlink.  “We continue to invest heavily in our coast-to-coast fibre network and advanced Internet technologies to deliver the best Internet experience for our customers.”
