Eastlink Television features local cartoonist in new series
Eastlink Television is pleased to present a 13-part series, "The Drawing Board" with cartoonist extraordinaire John MacIntyre. John is well known in industrial Cape Breton for his cartooning television program that ran locally for many years. The Drawing Board is a 30-minute interactive program that allows viewer's to participate from home by following John's step-by-step instructions. Most residents of Cape Breton recognize John as an avid runner, but school children will remember Mr. MacIntyre as the man who, for many years, visited their elementary classroom and taught them how to draw cartoons using letters of the alphabet as a starting point.
Beginning March 7, Eastlink Television will broadcast the program consecutively for thirteen weeks. The Drawing Board will air on Monday, Wednesday and Friday's at 4:30 p.m.
