Halifax, Nova Scotia – Eastlink celebrates the Black Loyalist 225th Anniversary of Freedom and Eastlink's relationship with Amistad America Inc. during a special edition of Eastlink Magazine.

"Eastlink Magazine - On Board the Amistad "documents a special journey of the Amistad and the at-sea routine aboard the tall ship. When the Freedom Schooner Amistad sailed from Halifax Harbour bound for Shelburne, an Eastlink Crew was on board to record the exciting journey. The episode is truly a unique one with crew aboard for the entire voyage on the Baltimore Clipper.
"We were honoured to have our Eastlink Magazine crew on board the Amistad." says Director of Eastlink Television, Michael Smith. "Our four day journey with the ship was unprecedented; never before has a television crew travelled with the ship for that amount of time. We expect that our subscribers will enjoy the rare look behind the scenes of this historic vessel."
