Eastlink Launches Telephone and Faster Internet Services in Clarenville Area

Clarenville, NL - Eastlink is bringing choice in local telephone service and faster Internet speeds to residents in greater Clarenville with the completion of a $1.3 million network upgrade. With this state-of-the-art digital network, area residents can now subscribe to Eastlink’s great line-up of communications and entertainment services, while taking advantage of bundled savings and one of the fastest Internet services in North America.

“Eastlink is committed to investing in Newfoundland & Labrador and to bringing more services to more communities across the province,” says Arthur Taylor, Eastlink Regional Manager, NL. “This network upgrade allows Eastlink to expand it range of services while offering choice in local telephone service and faster Internet speeds. It also gives residents the opportunity to experience the convenience, value and savings of the Eastlink Watch, Surf & Talk Bundle.”

Customers now have access to: Eastlink Telephone, which allows residents to keep their existing phone number and choose from flexible long distance calling plans; High Speed Extreme 15, Eastlink’s incredibly fast new 15 Mbps Internet service; and Eastlink Bundles, allowing customers to achieve additional savings by combining their services, with the added convenience of one bill; as well as an expanded digital cable channel line-up and improved customer service.

Communities benefitting from this upgrade include: Adeytown, Birchy Cove, Bloomfield, Bunyan’s Cove, Butter Cove, Canning’s Cove, Caplin Cove, Charlottetown, Clarenville, Come By Chance, Deep Bight, Dunfield, Elliott’s Cove, Georges Brook, Goose Cove, Gooseberry Cove, Hickman’s Harbour, Hillview, Hodge’s Cove, Ivany’s Cove, King’s Cove, Lady Cove, Lethbridge, Little Hearts Ease, Milton, Musgravetown, Newmans Cove, North West Brook, Plate Cove East, Plate Cove West, Port Rexton, Queen’s Cove, Shoal Harbour, Southport, Sunnyside, Summerville, Swift Current, Trinity (Trinity Bay), Trinity East, and Weybridge. Services will not launch in all communities on the same date.
