Yarmouth, Nova Scotia - Eastlink annouced today it completed a $4.2 million upgrade of its network to deliver telephone service to the majority of communities throughout Yarmouth. The upgrade was completed on schedule.
"Talking with friends and family just became more affordable for residents of Yarmouth," said Eastlink's Director of Marketing, Ian Lezama. "Residents now have a competitive telephone service and can benefit from additional savings and enjoy the quality and reliability of our digital network." Later this year, Eastlink will complete work to launch business telephone services in the area.
Eastlink crews and contractors began network construction work in February and launched telephone to the Town of Yarmouth, Wedgeport, Arcadia, Chegoggin and surrounding communities.
