Caitlin Roberts
Caitlin Roberts is a natural leader. Throughout her 10 years at Eastlink, She has seized various development opportunities that have led to her latest role as Vice President of People & Culture. She is recognized as a leader who brings a dynamic, collaborative and innovative attitude to everything she does to ensure everyone has a voice at the table.
In recognition of the importance of breaking the bias both at home and in the workplace, Caitlin reinforces the importance of everyone working towards raising women up, not just other women. She credits this belief to her parents who have been supportive and encouraging throughout her entire life, and who taught her that she could achieve or be anything she put her mind to.
Throughout her career in telecommunications, Caitlin says she has had several leaders and mentors that invested their time, interest and energy in supporting her. Leaders by example, they have encouraged her to stretch herself outside of her comfort zone. Caitlin says that’s when some of the best things happen. She recommends that all women, particularly those just starting out their careers, should find a mentor who inspires them and is willing to be part of their support network providing meaningful advice and guidance.
Women who build other women up are helping to create opportunities and workplaces where women can thrive. Caitlin is a great example of this.
