While they were closed during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the family-run business updated safety measures to make sure passengers can maintain physical distancing and introduced new procedures to keep all the safety gear customers need sterilized. Sea of Whales continues to consult with local residents and fishermen to stay on top of the best places to see a variety of species. The tours also allow them to collect information on sightings to share with international research groups and help understand whale migration.
The x.i.dos Hair Salon was designed to create a welcoming and relaxing experience for clients the moment they walk through the door. When the salon closed during the early stages of the pandemic, the x.i.dos team supported customers with virtual tutorials on how to colour hair, cut bangs and give themselves a trim. Now that they've reopened, the Halifax salon has new guidelines in place to protect customers and staff. But so far, their greatest challenge has been managing the long list of bookings from clients who have been waiting months for a hair appointment. While customers are bound to notice differences in the shop, x.i.dos is committed to making the experience enjoyable so everyone walks away feeling and looking great.
Working from home can have its perks, but the health professionals at Nova Spinal Care are ready to help anyone who may have developed kinks along the way. The West Bedford clinic is looking forward to welcoming back patients and providing the care needed for healthy minds and bodies with new guidelines to ensure physical distancing. While they were closed, the Nova Spinal care team prepared new safety precautions and created online videos to promote healthy lifestyle habits for their clientele. Customers may notice differences while visiting for appointments, but the team at Nova Spinal Care promises the quality of care being offered has not changed.
