Halifax, Nova Scotia -The Bragg Group of Companies, which operates communications companies across Canada under the brands of Eastlink, Persona, Amtelecom, Delta Cable, and Coast Cable, announced today that it has acquired Bluewater TV Cable and Ex-Cen Cablevision, based in the Southern Ontario region.
Bluewater TV Cable and Ex-Cen Cablevision serve Goderich, Clinton, Bayfield, Exeter and surrounding areas in Southern Ontario. Bluewater launched service in 1971 and has been delivering cable service to communities and have expanded to offer residential high speed and telephone service together with its recently launched business services. This makes Bluewater TV Cable and Ex-Cen Cablevision a good fit for the communications division of the Bragg Group of Companies.
"For more than 35 years, we have invested in the cable industry in Canada and remain committed to its continued growth," said Dan McKeen, Bragg Group of Companies. "We pride ourselves on providing excellent product choice and customer service to customers through our communications companies across Canada."
"We are proud of the business we have built and the services we have brought to our local communities," said Tim Stinson, General Manager of Bluewater TV Cable and Ex-Cen Cablevision. "We look forward to working with our new owners and to continuing to bring more value to our customers." There will be no immediate changes in Bluewater operations based on this acquisition.
