We are delighted to announce that Delta Cable’s very own Iayisha Khan, host of Delta Magazine, has been selected as a finalist for a Tuned-in Canada; CCSA Award.

Delta Cable is encouraging community members to vote for Iayisha. The voting process is simple - Go to http://www.tunedincanada.com/vote/ and cast your vote for Iayisha under the Best On-Camera Community Channel Personality. You can vote every day until June 17.
If Iayisha gets the most votes, Delta Cable will earn $1,000 to donate to a local charity.

Iayisha is the Delta TV Manager, face of our community station/ TV producer/ TV host/reporter. She wears many hats and does so with grace and ease. The community loves her. She has been honored with the opportunity to MC fundraisers such as the Delta Hospital annual fundraiser that raised $300,000. She has even flown to the East Coast of Canada to host the annual East Coast Music awards, an event that gives Canadian Musicians a spot on the world music stage.
Iayisha has an on-camera presence that is warm and inviting. Her positive attitude makes anything possible. She changes lives everyday with her commitment to tell stories that matter. She is involved in everything from community parades to fundraisers and business committees. Her passion and dedication to the community has left a lasting impression with all that meet her. She hosts Delta Magazine and all special programming events.
She has dedicated her career to shedding light on stories that make a difference in communities. She works with the community to uncover stories that change lives. She has covered stories from the downtown east-side (the poorest neighbourhood in Canada) to shedding light on programs for children with mental health issues. Her involvement in the community goes beyond her work at Delta TV. She is an avid traveler and humanitarian. She recently volunteered at the Syrian Refugee camps in Lesvos, Greece where she provided emergency aid to refugees fleeing war zones. She works every day to tell the stories of those who do not have a voice.
