Slave Lake, Alberta – People in Slave Lake now have access to state-of-the-art fibre connectivity for Internet, TV and phone services. LynxNet, in partnership with Eastlink, has completed work to upgrade fibre optic connectivity into Slave Lake.
“We’re really pleased with the speed by which our entire team has advanced this fibre optic upgrade,” said Ric McLaren, Operations Manager. “We’ve leveraged the strengths and successes of both Eastlink and LynxNet to fully modernize telecommunications services in this community.”

Eastlink has invested over $2M recently in Slave Lake and Camrose, and a total of $165 million in the towns it serves in Alberta over the last 10 years, bringing state-of-the-art, high speed Internet services (fastest internet service available in Alberta), HDTV, and competitive telephone services to towns like Grande Prairie, Cold Lake, Fox Creek, Three Hills, Bonnyville, St. Paul, Wetaskiwin, Whitecourt, and Mayerthorpe to name just a few.
