Halifax, Nova Scotia - On Thursday November 15th, Friday November 16th and Saturday November 17th Eastlink Television will be carrying the Mayor's Roundtable on Violence live from the HRM Council Chambers in Halifax.
Six community roundtable discussions have already taken place and the Mayor is now heading into the final stages of these discussions.
"I would like to thank Eastlink for their unprecedented coverage of the Roundtable as this issue is very important to HRM residents," said Mayor Peter Kelly. "Our goal for the Roundtable is to develop a workable long-term strategy with key recommendations for the community stakeholders involved-municipal, provincial and federal governments, police, school boards, parents and neighbors. I will work diligently and passionately to ensure these recommendations are turned into actions."

The Mayor's Roundtable on Violence will air starting at 8:30am and is scheduled to run until 6:00pm on Thursday, November 15th and Friday, November 16th. Discussions are scheduled for 9:00 am until 12:00 noon on Saturday November 17th.
