HALIFAX (August 26, 2014) – Sports fans in Atlantic Canada can once again enjoy exclusive live coverage of their favourite local sports teams and athletes on the Maritimes’ #1 sports channel. Eastlink TV will be featuring live coverage of 21 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) hockey games on this season’s Friday Night Hockey and 24 Atlantic University Sports (AUS) matchups, including AUS basketball, football and hockey.

QMJHL Friday Night Hockey on Eastlink TV begins Friday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. (AST) at the Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown with the St. John Sea Dogs taking on the Charlottetown Islanders.

AUS football action begins Saturday, Sept. 6 at 2 p.m. at McAulay Field in Sackville, NB with the Acadia Axemen taking on the Mount Allison Mounties.
