Halifax, Nova Scotia - All Eastlink Digital Cable customers are enjoying more than 40 Canadian digital specialty channels as part of the 31 Days of Great TV promotion. The industry-wide initiative between broadcasters and distributors began January 1 and is designed to shine a spotlight on digital specialty channels and to encourage Canadians to sample and subscribe to new programming.

31 Days of Great TV offers customers a sample of targeted, original and exclusive program offerings across the new specialty channels. All Eastlink Digital Cable customers are enjoying access to participating channels for the month.
The collaboration, supported by some of Canada's foremost media companies including Alliance Atlantis Communications, CanWest MediaWorks, Corus Entertainment, represents the television industry's largest joint initiative since the September 2001 launch of Canada's digital services.
