HALIFAX, NS - Eastlink, the company that first launched local telephone over a cable network in Canada, is introducing a 10 Megabit per second (Mbps) Internet service. Eastlink is the first Maritime provider to launch the 10Mbps Internet speed across all its service areas.

Investments made in Eastlink's network allows customers' to utilize the next generation of Internet applications and is designed to ensure our customers experience the full power of the Internet. Eastlink Bundled customers' will automatically receive the 10Mbps Internet service by June 25. A stand-alone 10 Megabit per second High Speed product will be available at $54.95 per month.
