Aylmer, ON - Eastlink announced today that residents in Bayfield, Brucefield and Varna now have a choice in their local telephone provider with the launch of Eastlink Home Phone.
“Our customers often ask us when we can offer them home phone service,” says Eastlink’s Regional Manager Ron Mervis. “We’re excited to confirm that today is that day in Bayfield, Brucefield and Varna. And to top it off we’re offering Eastlink Home Phone free for the first year.”
Eastlink’s Home Phone service, which serves hundreds of thousands of residential as well as small and large private and public sector customers across Canada, is delivered over a highly reliable, state of the art fibre network.

We continue to invest heavily in Southwestern Ontario to ensure that we provide our customers with competitive choice, excellent value and the very best telecommunications products and services in the market.”
Eastlink’s Home Phone service is also coming this fall to the communities of Ayton, Dashwood, Mildmay, Millbank, Milverton, Neustadt, Paisley and Port Elgin.
Mervis affirms that customers not only save by bundling their free phone with other Eastlink services, but they can also enjoy superior TV and internet services including ultra fast internet speeds, and the best Digital TV available with over 115 High Definition (HD) channels, thousands of titles of free OnDemand programs, and the ability to view recordings in any room with whole home DVR.
