Halifax, Nova Scotia - Atlantic University Sport and Eastlink Television are pleased to announce that 10 of the conference's football games will be broadcast this coming season.

Each Saturday this fall, the on-air team of Dan Robertson and John MacNeil will provide the play-by-play and colour commentary, with Peter Ruttgaizer manning the sidelines.
Highlighting this year's broadcast schedule will be three 30-minute pre-game shows and Eastlink Television's second trip to Laval in three years as they will travel to Quebec to cover the October 21st interlock match-up between defending conference champions Acadia Axemen and Laval Rouge et Or. Eastlink last traveled to Laval in 2004 to broadcast the Saint Mary's Huskies visit to PEPS Stadium.
The 2006 season will kick off with a 30-minute pre-season show prior to the first game of the regular season on September 9th; a rematch of the 2005 AUFC semi-final game between the Saint Mary's Huskies and StFX X-Men, which will also mark the head-coaching debut of Steve Sumarah with the Huskies.
Other games on the broadcast schedule to watch for include a rematch of the Université de Montréal Carabins and Saint Mary's Huskies on September 23rd and the homecoming games for Mount Allison, StFX and Acadia. Eastlink will also cover both the AUFC semi-final and championship games.
