Halifax, Nova Scotia - Eastlink Television will once again be the home for the most comprehensive line-up of Maritime sports coverage when it launches it's line-up of Quebec Major Junior Hockey League games for the 2006-07 season. Eastlink will carry a total of 22 games Friday nights during the regular season.
Eastlink Television will produce 20 games and two games will originate from Rogers Television in New Brunswick. The QMJHL Friday Night Hockey season begins on September 15 with Rimouski Oceanique at Saint John Sea Dogs.
The broadcast team of Dan Robertson, Paul MacDonald, and Matt Beardsley combine to create one of the strongest broadcasting teams in QMJHL markets. Last year Dan Robertson was the recipient of the Galaxi Award for best local sports commentator in Canada.
