Halifax, Nova Scotia - Eastlink Television will carry exclusive television coverage of the ceremony installing the Province's 31st Lieutenant Governor. Mayann Francis will be sworn in at Province House on Wednesday, September 7th at 11 a.m and will be broadcast live throughout Nova Scotia. Ms. Francis is well known for her work as Chief Executive Officer of the Human Rights Commission and Ombudsman for the Province of Nova Scotia.
The ceremony will be carried on Channel 10 in the Halifax Regional Municipality, Amherst, Bridgewater, New Glasgow, and Sydney, channel 4 in Truro, channel 5 in Antigonish, New Minas and Yarmouth, channel 8 in Liverpool, Windsor and Shelburne and channel 13 in Aylesford.
