Halifax, Nova Scotia - Combining special promotional offers with fun and educational tips and chances to win one of four prizes of $1,000 Cash, Eastlink recently launched its 2006 Student Essentials campaign.

The 2006 Student Essentials campaign is a multi-channel marketing initiative designed to reach students where they live, work and play. In addition to an aggressive multi-media campaign, Eastlink Student Essentials street teams will visit university and college campuses throughout the region. Members of the Student Essentials team will distribute more than 15 thousand wallet sized Pin n' Win Cards. Each card contains a unique code that can be entered Eastlink Student Web site (www.Eastlink.ca/essentials) to win one of four prizes of one thousand dollars cash.
First year Saint Mary's University Student Nicholas Gilroy said, " I really like Eastlink's fast internet speed, and if I win one of the prizes of a thousand dollars cash, that would be an awesome way to start my school year!"
The Eastlink Student Essentials Campaign offer is open to all students with a valid active Student I.D. number and who are attending a university or college within Eastlink's service areas.
