Halifax, Nova Scotia - On Thursday June 7th, for the second time in as many years, six HRM school bands will play a special performance at City Hall. Their performances will be taped for telecast this September as part of Eastlink Television coverage of Halifax Regional Council meetings.
"We are very proud of our youth and are pleased to be able to offer citizens the opportunity to see our school bands," said Mayor Peter Kelly. "Our Halifax Regional Council sessions aired on Eastlink Television are the perfect outlet to feature our talented students in HRM and to recognize these budding musicians' hard work and practice throughout the year."

- Madelyn Symonds - 9:00am
- Eastern Passage Junior High - 9:45am
- Musquodoboit Rural High - 10:30am
- Cavalier Drive School - 12:15pm
- Tantallon Elementary - 1:00pm
- Dartmouth All City - 1:45pm
