Be sure your device is unlocked. If you device is not unlocked you can request the unlock code from your current provider (free of charge)

If your device is compatible with the Eastlink Wireless network, you’ll need to purchase an Eastlink Wireless SIM card and select a rate plan to activate it. You can purchase an Eastlink Wireless SIM card by visiting one of our retail stores.
Your compatible, unlocked phone should be able to make voice calls and send/receive text messages on the Eastlink network. However, you may still have to program your phone for MMS and data capabilities.
BlackBerry Users Please Note - If you are using a compatible and unlocked BlackBerry device not purchased from Eastlink, data will automatically be configured when you insert your Eastlink SIM card.
