Mobile Plans

Sharing is available on Rollover plans and Unlimited Data plans. $10 monthly credit is available on each additional mobile line, after the first mobile line, when an eligible Rollover Data or Unlimited Data plan is added to the account. $10 monthly credit appears on your Eastlink mobile monthly bill.

1. easyTab® is a device financing program which allows you to purchase your phone with equal payments over a 24 month term, on approved credit and an eligible plan. Monthly device payment varies by device selected. If you cancel or terminate your agreement early, for any purpose, your remaining device payments will become due immediately. The additional easyTab® savings off the regular price is based on 24 equal contribution payments in the amount shown, subject to change.

   easyTab Flex® is a device financing program that offers you an upfront credit (the "Deferred Amount") towards the balance of your device easyTab® at time of purchase on select devices, providing you with a reduced monthly tab contribution in consideration of your agreement to return the device in Good Condition (see below for more details) at the end of your 24-month term. Requires an eligible plan and available on approved credit. If you keep your device at the end of your 24-month term you will be billed the Deferred Amount. If your account is cancelled prior to the end of your 24-month term or your device is not returned in Good Condition at the end of your term, your account will be billed the Deferred Amount. Taxes extra and are based on the device full retail price minus applicable easyTab® discount, before easyTab Flex® Deferred Amount is applied. Taxes are financed over the 24-month term.

   To return your easyTab Flex® device you must go to an Eastlink retail location where the device will be inspected to determine if it is in Good Condition. Good Condition means the device:

   • powers on, holds a charge and navigates to the home screen

   • is free from liquid damage

   • is free from apparent physical damage (e.g., bending, cracks, severe scratches, chips, or punctures to any part of the device, including the screen, back glass, frame or cameras)

   • display is fully functional and free of defects such as visible burn-in, ghost images or dead pixels

   • cameras, speakers, buttons, ports & microphone function properly

   • there are no missing components (e.g., buttons, keys, SIM/media tray, included stylus, battery cover)

   • all activation/security locks for the device are turned off and no longer linked to your associated cloud account, such as “Find my iPhone” (for Apple devices) and “Activation Lock Protection” (for Android devices)

   • any PIN/password, facial recognition or fingerprint lock has been removed, data has been removed, and the device has been factory reset

   Eastlink collects the device on behalf of Assurant Services Canada Inc. (ASCI) and does not take ownership. ASCI and its subsidiaries and affiliates carry on business in Canada under the name Assurant. Assurant is a registered trademark of Assurant, Inc.

2. Pricing is an average cost per line when you purchase the specified number of lines based on the price of each line. All lines after pre-authorized payment discount (must be set up on account) and additional line discounts (where applicable).

3. The pre-authorized payment discount is available to new or existing mobile customers who subscribe to an eligible in-market residential plan and set up monthly pre-authorized payments. You must set-up and keep pre-authorized payments active with an eligible plan to receive this discount. The discount is applied to your monthly mobile plan. The pre-authorized payment discount will begin on your next bill cycle after setting up pre-authorized payments. This discount may be removed if your mobile service is terminated, you change to an ineligible plan, remove your pre-authorized payment method, your payment method is expired, or if payment fails. 4. Eastlink’s Unlimited Data Mobile plans include two high-speed data allotments, one for use on Eastlink’s network and one for use nationwide on extended coverage (extended coverage represents access to partner networks across Canada). The price of the plan and size of the data allotments depends on the plan selected. Once your high-speed Eastlink and/or Nationwide data allotment has been depleted you will continue to enjoy unlimited data for no additional cost at a reduced speed, up to 512kbps (upload/download) for the applicable data, until the beginning of your next billing cycle. Applications that require higher speeds (such as streaming video) will likely be impacted. Speeds of 512kbps should still be suitable for applications that do not require higher upload or download speeds (such as web browsing and e-mail). The download and upload speed of the high-speed data will depend on geographic location and other conditions. If you subscribe to easyTravel, international data usage will count towards your allotment for Eastlink’s Network. 5. If you subscribe to a Rollover Data plan the following terms and conditions apply:

   1. Starting on your second month of service any data you have not used by the end of the month will be rolled over to the next month.

   2. The maximum roll over data you can have at any given time is equal to the monthly data included in your Rollover Data plan. For example, if you subscribe to a 10 GB plan, the maximum amount of rolled over data you can have at any given time is 10 GB.

   3. Rollover data will expire if you change plans, including to another Rollover Data plan.

   4. If you change to another Rollover Data plan, you will start to incur rollover data in your second month after your plan change.

   5. Unused data included in Travel Packs, Data Top-Up, and Bonus Data cannot be rolled over.

6. If you subscribe to the Can-US-Mex plan the following terms and conditions apply:

   1. Starting on your second month of service any data you have not used by the end of the month will be rolled over to the next month.

   2. Your plan includes 60 GB of rollover data, the maximum amount of rolled over data you can have at any given time is what is included within your plan (i.e. 60 GB).

   3. Rollover data will expire if you change plans, including to another Rollover Data plan.

   4. If you change to another Rollover Data plan, you will start to incur rollover data in your second month after your plan change.

   5. Can-US-Mex plan:  You may use your plan in the United States, Mexico or a combination of the United States and Mexico for a maximum of six months (182 days) per year, this is calculated from the date you subscribed to the Canada/US/Mexico plan. If your usage in the United States, Mexico or a combination of the United States and Mexico exceeds this limit, you may be contacted by Eastlink to change your plan, or the ability to use your plan in the United States or Mexico may be removed. Calls made within the US to the US, US to Canada, US to Mexico, within Mexico to Mexico, Mexico to Canada, Mexico to US and Canada within Canada, Canada to the US and Canada to Mexico are included. Long distance rates will apply to calls made from the US to countries other than Canada and Mexico, from Mexico to countries other than Canada and the US, and from Canada to countries other than the US or Mexico. Data roaming fees will apply to data usage in the US or Mexico that exceeds the allotment included in your plan.

7. Data-only plans include a monthly allotment of data for use on an eligible tablet device. Bring-your-own-tablet only; device eligibility subject to Eastlink approval. Data-only plans do not include text, calling, or 911 services. Available to new or existing mobile service customers. Monthly data allotment is not shareable with other devices. Roaming is not available outside of Canada. Plan is not eligible for additional line discounts or the pre-authorized payment discount. A one-time connection fee of $80 per new device activation is applied on your Eastlink bill.

8. Bundle offers available to new customers (new customers meaning not having been an Eastlink customer within the past six months); or existing customers subscribed to an eligible plan who add an eligible Internet, TV, or Mobile plan. Contact Eastlink for full eligibility details. Available services may vary by geography, call us to discuss your needs. Your promotion consists of monthly savings off the regular price in the form of monthly bill credits and pre-authorized payment discount if eligible. If the regular price increases, your monthly price will increase, but you will continue to receive your monthly savings during the promotional period. Pricing is based on continued subscription to the services, any changes to your services may result in loss of savings and/or change in price. At the end of the promotional period, the regular price will apply. Bundle price with Mobile includes $10 pre-authorized payment discount. Pre-authorized payment discount is available to new or existing mobile customers who subscribe to an eligible in-market residential plan and set up monthly pre-authorized payments. You must set-up and keep pre-authorized payments active with an eligible plan to receive this discount. The discount is applied to your monthly mobile plan. The Pre-authorized payment discount will begin on your next bill cycle after setting up pre-authorized payments.
