Meet Our People: Crissy Baillie
Field Operations, Nova Scotia
Crissy Baillie grew up believing that all things are possible no matter how far out of reach they may seem.
She started her journey at Eastlink over 20 years ago. She has grown professionally and personally, establishing herself as a dedicated and agile team member tackling many roles across the organization throughout the years. In November of 2019, Crissy took on her newest challenge as the Director of Field Operations for Atlantic Canada.
She attributes her drive, character and ambition to her mother. A role model throughout Crissy’s life, her mother continuously defeated the odds overcoming health challenges, succeeding in vocational school and then spending 21 years working for Canada’s National Defense.
Crissy lives by the motto that if you believe you can do anything, you’ll be able to achieve anything. She says that women often set the bar extremely high for themselves, but that it’s important to just take the leap, regardless of height, and put yourself out there - even if you don’t feel ready.
With more than two decades at Eastlink, Crissy's career stands as a testament to adaptability and determination. her leadership continues to inspire others to take risks, trust themselves, and pursue opportunities they might not have possible.
