If you shopped at one of our stores in Halifax between 2014-2019, chances are you met Jessica, who quickly worked her way to managing three stores by building a community of mentors.
Jessica was drawn to Eastlink as an entrepreneurial, family-run business with a reputation for encouraging ideas and trying new things.
A graduate of Eastlink’s Business Management Leadership Program, Jessica has played an integral role as a Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Manager. With some trepidation, she applied for a spot in the Leadership Program while heading into her second Maternity leave and says she felt fully supported to pursue a new opportunity when she returned to work.
In her current role, Jessica is recognized as an essential leader. She credits her success to the many women who have supported and embraced her passionate determination, clear goals and high bar for success.
When asked what advice she would give women looking to advance in any organization, Jessica doesn’t hesitate: "Find a mentor who can help push you outside your comfort zone".
